Adding and Subtracting Integers

Hey students! Just wanted to do a short post with a few pointers for the integers homework! Remember when you are subtracting a negative, you have to take the opposite of it!

Ex:               4 - -2    ***put your parentheses
                   4 - (-2)
                        opposite of -2  is +2
                  4 + 2 (Model it!)
                   ++++
                   ++                          Answer: ___+6______

4.     (-7) + (-6)
